Children’s Ministry

** All folks working directly with children and/or teenagers must pass a Federal background check and go through safety training (both are paid for and provided by PVWC)

Children’s Ministry – Sunday Mornings (9:30 am-10:30 am and 10:30 am -11:30 am)
Overview: investing in children by sharing the love of Jesus with them
Commitment: rotation-based

Children’s Ministry – Wednesday Nights (6:15 pm-7:30 pm)
Overview: investing in children by sharing the love of Jesus with them
Commitment: rotation-based

• Bus ministry – providing a safe and structured environment for the children in our community to get to/from church
  • Bus driver – no CDL needed; training provided by PVWC
  • Bus rider
• Kitchen crew – providing and serving a weekly meal
• Preschool (4’s/5’s) – instilling the love of Jesus in our youngest learners

Discipleship Ministry
Overview: providing space for adults to grow in their faith, together with others

• Lead/facilitate on a rotation basis in one of our existing Sunday morning Discipleship Groups/Classes
• Lead/facilitate a new Discipleship Group (on campus or off campus)
• Host a space for a new Discipleship Group (off campus)

Encouragement Team
Overview: be part of bringing a smile to people

• Card ministry – send a weekly card to a rotation of individuals (provided to you)
• Visitation ministry – stop in and share life with folks (provided to you)

Hospitality Team
Overview: be part of making a lasting first impression for our guests
Commitment: rotation based

• Coffee café – providing refreshment and snacks during our 9:30am Discipleship Hour and 10:30am Worship Hour on Sunday mornings (includes setting it up, managing it, and tearing it down)
• Greeters – welcoming people to our Sunday services and assisting as needed (bringing to children’s ministry, any special accommodations, etc.)
• Attendance – tracking our weekly worship gathering (better enabling us to follow up with people)

Safety Team
Overview: be part of keeping our entire campus safe and secure
Commitment: rotation based, Sundays and Wednesdays

• Parking attendant – helping folks get parked properly and assist with any needs
• Safety detail – keeping an eye on all facilities and lots during our gathering times

Worship Team
Overview: use your vocal and/or instrumental giftings during our worship services
Commitment: rotation based; Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings (prior to)

Worship Tech Team
Overview: use your tech skills to help support our worship services
Commitment: rotation based; Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings (prior to)
